CAMANA BAY, Cayman Islands (AP) -- Nicol David of Malaysia has won her seventh Women's World Open squash title and fifth in a row after beating first-time finalist Laura Massaro of England 11-6, 11-8, 11-6.

The third-ranked Massaro made the favorite work hard in the 44-minute final Friday night, but top-ranked David was the better closer, winning the last three points in the first game, the last four of the second, and the last three of the match.

David says, "I can't believe it, I'm so pleased with my game tonight. Laura played so well, she was pushing me on every point. ... I had to step up another gear to win.

"I wanted to win so much, to win again in Cayman, that seventh world title, I wanted it all."
