Riley wins sixth national title

BRISBANE, Australia (AP) -- Commonwealth champion Samantha Riley won her sixth Australian 200-meter breaststroke title -- and third in a row -- Thursday at the national swimming championships at the Chandler Aquatic Center.

The 26-year-old, who will compete in next week' Hong Kong world short course titles, clocked 2 minutes, 29.14 seconds, just ahead of Caroline Hildreth in 2:29.24.

Riley's time was slower than her win in Wednesday night's semifinal in 2:28.67.
