1996-97 season in review
|
|
John Paul Jr. had a solid 1996-97 campaign going before a practice accident at Indianapolis sidelined him for much of the season. He returned for the VisionAire 500K at Charlotte, where he finished 11th, well off the pace. His seventh at New Hampshire represented his highest finish of the season. He return with PDM racing for the first two races of 1998 season, but will be replaced by Jack Hewitt for the Indy 500.
