1996-97 season in review
|
|
Greg Ray showed his speed in 1996-97, but never could quite finish a race strong. He finished 25th in his first start at Indianapolis, but followed that up with a sixth-place start and eighth-place finish at Texas. At Charlotte he quickly carved his way up through the field, from 17th to 6th, before dropping out after 30 laps. Ray returns with Thomas Knapp Motorsports for a full 1998 season.
