Jack Miller and the Nissan Infiniti engine obviously weren't a winning combination in 1998, but the racing dentist and the Crest Racing team made the Indy 500 field twice and was Nissan's sole focus.

Miller never got on track in his eight 1997 IRL races. His top finish was 15th -- out of a field of 19 -- at Orlando. He crashed out of the Indy 500 and Samsonite 200 at Pikes Peak and also got caught up in another car's wreck at Las Vegas. Several times Miller's was the lone Nissan engine in a field of Oldsmobiles, and he couldn't keep up.
