  Casey Atwood (19)
Atwood's roller-coaster rookie season has caught an upswing. He has back-to-back top-15 finishes after finishing 15th at Pocono. As a result, he gained two spots to 32nd in the standings. 
  Dale Earnhardt Jr. (8)
Earnhardt Jr. has three top-10 finishes and an 11th-place effort in his past four starts. After finishing at Pocono, he jumped a spot to seventh in the standings. 
  Bobby Labonte (18)
The defending Winston Cup champ has five top-10 finishes in his past six starts. His thrilling victory at Pocono moved him up a spot to eighth in the points. 
  Robert Pressley (77)
Pressley's ninth-place finish at in the Pennsylvania 500 was his second top-10 effort in his past three races. Pressley gained another spot in the standings, to 22nd. 
  Tony Stewart (20)
Stewart has back-to-back top-5 finishes. His third-place finish at Pocono last Sunday was his 10th top-10 finish in his past 13 starts. Stewart sits fourth in the standings. 
Who's Not
  Kurt Busch (97)
After an eighth-place finish at Chicagoland Speedway two weeks ago, Busch hasn't been close. He was 42nd at New Hampshire and 37th at Pocono. 
  Stacy Compton (92)
Compton hasn't cracked the top 30 in three of his past four starts. Through 20 Winston Cup starts this season, he has one top-10 finish -- at the season-opening Daytona 500 in February. 
  Terry Labonte (5)
Labonte has finished below the top 30 in five of his past six starts. The No. 5 car hasn't finished in the top 10 since the Food City 500 at Bristol in March. 
  Ron Hornaday (14)
Hornaday has finished below the top 30 in nine of his past 10 starts. He has just one top-10 finish in 19 starts this season. Hornaday was ninth at Las Vegas in March. 
  Elliott Sadler (21)
After his third-place finish at Daytona, Sadler has cooled off considerably. He finished 40th in the New England 300 and was 26th in the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono.
