'Intimidator' dies after Daytona crash

For NASCAR, the season will go on as scheduled this weekend at Rockingham, but Monday was a day of mourning for the NASCAR community , as it remembered one of its greats. Seven-time Winston Cup champ Dale Earnhardt, 49, died Sunday as a result of massive injuries sustained in a last-lap crash at the Daytona 500.
