Busch series qualifying postponed until Thursday

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Qualifying for the Busch Series' EAS/GNC Live Well 300 was postponed Wednesday by steady rain after just five of 48 cars completed their runs.

Qualifying will resume Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

Scott Riggs was the fastest with a lap of 183.460 mph, followed by Greg Biffle's 183.303. Kerry Earnhardt, Steadman Marlin and Kevin Lepage rounded out the provisional top five.

Jack Sprague topped the final practice before qualifying, running a lap of 185.246.
