(Eclipse) -- According to media reports in the British media, three-time Indy Car champion Bobby Rahal will be revealed as the new boss at Jaguar Racing tomorrow with an official announcement made at the US Grand Prix next weekend.

Jaguar have continued to deny the reports insisting they are nothing more than speculation and rumour. However, Jaguar’s chairman Neil Ressler has already let it be known that he intends to bring in some big hitters in order to improve the team’s fortunes.

Jaguar have failed to achieve any of their goals set out at the high-profile launch back in January, and the writing could have and perhaps should have been seen on the wall when on the very day of the launch Jackie Stewart stepped down as team boss.

It has been an uphill battle ever since. Ressler has indicated that his decisions in the next few weeks will prove decisive one way or another next year.
