De La Salle High School
De La Salle blew past the record for the longest unbeaten streak in high school football... and then kept winning for another six years. The Spartans' record, which began in 1992, finally concluded in 2004 after 151 consecutive victories. During the streak, De La Salle beat nine nationally ranked opponents and was named USA Today's national champion five times. The Spartans were also named the top team in California for all but one year of the streak. Current and former NFL players Maurice Jones-Drew, T.J. Ward, Matt Gutierrez, D.J. Williams, David Loverne and Derek Landri all played for De La Salle during the undefeated stretch.
