This was a special moment for me. I've seen former UCLA coach John Wooden throughout the years. I've met him and talked to him, been at his apartment and spent some time with him. He's not only a great coach, but a great human being, wonderful to be around and always giving of his time. He's the epitome of a gentleman. Late last year he showed up at the John Wooden Classic in Anaheim. Someone sat him up in the stands by himself. So while we were setting up our equipment, I took a moment to take some of these photographs. It's a unique moment where he was isolated, and I like to imagine he was reflecting on his life and his career.
