A small, feisty defensive forward nicknamed "Killer" for his intensity, Gilmour scored the Stanley Cup-winning goal for Calgary in 1989 and later pulled of the unusual feat of winning best defensive forward honors while scoring 127 points for Toronto in 1992-93.
