A career .310 hitter, Chipper Jones is really hitting 'em where they ain't this season. It's a bit premature to start The Chipper Watch, but you can't ignore a .400 average in June.

For the record, it's been 67 years since Ted Williams became the last player to hit .400 (.406, actually), and few men have mounted a serious challenge into the summer.
