Jay Cutler
Twenty-four quarterbacks since 1998 have played in a new city after throwing for at least 2,500 yards the previous season. And while the perhaps-soon-to-be-traded Alex Smith and Tim Tebow don't meet that passing threshold, we thought it might still be insightful to take a look at how the 24 QBs fared in their transition, beginning with Jay Cutler. The Vanderbilt grad threw for 4,526 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2008 in Denver, but after discovering that coach Josh McDaniels tried to acquire Matt Cassel from the Patriots, Cutler asked to be traded. He ended up in Chicago, where he's racked up 12,292 yards and 82 touchdowns over four seasons as the Bears starter.
