Delmon Young
2003, Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Outfielder, Adolfo Camarillo High
Young immediately tore up the minor leagues after going No. 1 to the Rays, but he struggled to contain his temper. In April 2006, Young threw his bat at an umpire after being called out on strikes and was suspended for 50 games. Young enjoyed the best season of his career in 2010, hitting .298 with 21 homers and 112 RBIs. In 2011, he hit only .268 with 12 home runs while splitting the season between Minnesota and Detroit. In April 2012, Young, now with the Tigers, was charged with a hate-crime misdemeanor after an incident in New York. He was suspended seven days.
