Winning in Japan

April 20, 2008

After riding ''topless'' for most of her career in open-cockpit cars, Danica Patrick added a roof to her repertoire and ran a limited NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule in 2010. She begins a second season knowing her contracts are up in both IndyCar and NASCAR at year's end, which means she has a big decision coming up. Here are her Top 12 career moments thus far.

Competing in Montegi, Japan, Patrick tracked down Helio Castroneves and beat him to the checkered flag in a race that was determined by fuel mileage. In doing so, she became the first female driver to win a major closed-course race.
