This wasn't a complete shocker given that Vera Zvonareva reached the Wimbledon final in her last major tournament. But her 6-4, 6-3 semifinal victory was still surprising: The top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki, a 2009 U.S. Open finalist, had lost only 17 games in five matches en route to the semifinals.
