Dec 26: Brees breaks NFL's single-season passing record

With one week left in the regular season, New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees became the NFL's single-season passing leader, eclipsing Dan Marino's 27-year-old mark. Brees ended Week 16 with 5,087 yards, three more than what Marino amassed in 1984.
