Babe Ruth calls his shot
When Babe Ruth came to bat in the fifth inning of Game 3 of the 1932 World Series, Cubs fans and players taunted the slugger mercilessly. Then, the Sultan of Swat pointed. Over the centerfield fence? The homer was his second of the game and led the Yankees to a 7-5 win.
