This weekend, 95 college teams will descend on New York City to compete in the fifth annual Quidditch World Cup. The sport, inspired by the Harry Potter books and movies, is growing in popularity across the nation. The craze began in 2005, when a group of students at Vermont's Middlebury College formed their own team. The sport is played between two teams of seven players who try to score in six ring-shaped goals. Here are some action shots from across the country.
