May-Treanor and Walsh have all but sewn up their third straight Olympic berth together. The 2004 and 2008 Olympic champions each took time off in 2009 and 2010, but they returned to the professional tour in 2011 and finished the year ranked No. 2 in the world behind the Brazilian world champions.
