Most Consecutive Playoff Berths: 21

On March 26, 2012, the Red Wings broke their own NHL record, set from 1939-58, by qualifying for the postseason for the 21st consecutive year. It's the longest current streak in the four major professional sports leagues. The NBA's San Antonio Spurs are their closest pursuers, at 15 straight.
