Raúl Ibañez
Born: June 2, 1972
The Yankee outfielder showed some late-game heroics during Game 3 of the 2012 ALDS against the Orioles. Down one run in the ninth inning, manager Joe Girardi decided to use Ibanez to bat for Alex Rodriguez. Ibanez stepped up and took Jim Johnson deep in the ninth inning for a solo shot to send the game to extra innings. He then hit a leadoff homer in the 12th inning, giving the Yankees a 3-2 win over the Orioles. Ibanez became the first player in postseason history with a homer in the ninth inning and a homer in extra innings in the same game.
