Junior Seau and Charles Thompson
Junior Seau died on May 2 of a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound. The San Diego native played three seasons at USC before joining the Chargers with the fifth overall pick in the 1990 NFL Draft. After 13 seasons with San Diego, Seau played three seasons with the Dolphins before finishing his career with the Patriots. In 20 NFL seasons, Seau played in 12 Pro Bowls, two Super Bowls and retired with 56.5 career sacks and 1,849 tackles. Here are some classic photos of the Chargers legend.
