Boudia is one of only two divers at the Olympic trials (June 17-24, Federal Way, Wash.) who owns an individual world championship medal. The 2011 world silver medalist will be an overwhelming favorite to win the men's platform. The top two finishers in every individual event will go to London. The winners in three synchronized events (men's platform and springboard, women's springboard) will also qualify for the Olympics. Boudia, who was 10th at the 2008 Olympics, is the best hope to end the U.S. diving medal drought at the Olympics, dating back to 2000.
