Missy Franklin leads the women's 200-meter backstroke final at the U.S. Olympic trials on July 1. Only 17, Franklin won the race and qualified for the last of her seven events. Franklin is the first U.S. woman to qualify for seven Olympic swimming events, one more than the previous record.
