Homer Bailey
Sept. 28, 2012
Perfect through six innings, Homer Bailey settled for a no-hitter, the seventh this season. Bailey allowed just two baserunners -- on an error and a walk -- and struck out 10 in the Reds' 1-0 victory over the Pirates. It was the 15th no-hitter in Reds history and the first since Tom Browning's perfect game in 1988. The seven major league no-hitters in 2012 match the modern record for one season, tying 1990 and 1991. There were eight no-hitters in 1884.
