After 40 years of coaching, Jim Calhoun is ready to call it a career. The storied Connecticut coach is expected to announce his retirement Thursday after battling myriad of health issues over recent years. The 70-year-old coach spent 26 years at UConn, where he racked up 625 of his 873 career wins along with three national titles. Calhoun helped put the school on the basketball map, winning his first title in 1999 and sending more than two dozen players to the NBA. In 2005, Calhoun was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame, but his work was not done. Led by sharpshooter Kemba Walker, Calhoun's Huskies won the 2011 Big East Tournament in dramatic fashion before going on to win his third and final NCAA title.
