After suffering a shoulder injury in preseason drills last year, Ole Miss running back Deuce McAllister rebounded in the second half of the season to finish with 809 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns. McAllister also redefined the word "versatile," setting an Ole Miss single-season record in 1999 with 1,692 all-purpose yards as a running back, wide receiver and kick returner. McAllister is a 1999 first team All-SEC selection and only the second Rebel to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.
