Purdue quarterback Drew Brees could have left school early for the NFL after last season, where he would almost certainly have been a first-round pick. However, with a 7-4 record and a loss to Georgia in the Outback Bowl, Brees felt he still had some unfinished business at Purdue. If he can put up numbers similar to his sophomore season in 1998, where he set the school record for completion percentage at 61 percentage, look for Brees to be a primary contender.
