Battered Rams
The door finally closed on the Rams’ quest to repeat as NFL champs on Saturday. After squeaking into the final wild-card spot, the Rams fell to the NFC West champion Saints 31-28. It was the first time a defending champion lost in the wild-card round since the 49ers did so at the hands of the Giants in 1985.
