U.S. Open Practice Round, Day 2
The field at the U.S. Open spent Wednesday’s practice round trying to master the more subtle aspects of Southern Hills. The ninth and 18th holes, both par 4s with severely sloping greens, have given many players fits. Defending champion Tiger Woods and 155 challengers have had two days to get comfortable with the course – the true test starts Thursday morning.
