Has a projected No. 1 ever fallen this far? Many mock-drafters penciled in the Cal quarterback to go to the 49ers with the first pick, but San Francisco opted for Utah QB Alex Smith. After the top-five teams passed on Rodgers, his freefall began, as a slew of teams with established signal-callers passed on him. The Packers had no interest in drafting a quarterback, but couldn't resist the value at No. 24.
