Foster's success will depend on how far back he is from a broken collar bone that kept him out for most of the 2004 season. If he's healthy, he'll have the early jump on Stephen Davis, who is also recovering from an injury. The Panthers proved last year that they can turn almost anyone into a 100-yard-a-game rusher, and Foster could be an outstanding red-zone back.
