Hakeem Olajuwon
1984

Even in '84, the year he was selected first overall by the Houston Rockets, Hakeem Olajuwon's tuxedo raised some eyebrows. Though he led the Rockets to two championships and was ranked as one of 50 greatest players in NBA history, the team overlooked a skinny two-guard from North Carolina named Michael Jordan, who was selected by the Chicago Bulls two picks later.
