Manning may not have wanted to run, but with the Saints' porous line in front of him, he didn't have much choice. A first-round pick of the Saints in 1971, Manning was at the helm of some of the worst teams in NFL history. But he may be the best quarterback ever on a bad team, and much of his success had to do with his scrambling ability. A play wasn't over until the whistle blew when Manning was on the run.
