Nov. 14, 1998

Kansas State, one of the first teams to design a quarterback-run game out of the shotgun, ends a 29-year losing streak against Nebraska, 40-30, thanks to 446 total yards (including 140 on the ground) from fleet-footed QB Michael Bishop (pictured). Bishop winds up finishing second in the Heisman Trophy race and serving as the precursor for a new generation of offenses built around mobile quarterbacks.
