25. Doug Flutie
Small in stature (5-foot-10) but a giant when it came to big plays, Flutie first captured the imagination of football fans as a senior at Boston College. In the dying seconds of a nationally-televised game against Miami, the diminutive QB connected with receiver Gerald Phelan on a 48-yard pass to give Boston College a 47-45 win. The play ("The Pass") remains etched in college football lore. Still going at 42, Flutie has played 20 professional seasons.
