The Rocket turned 42 in August 2004 on his way to claiming his record seventh Cy Young award. Clemens went 18-4 with a 2.98 ERA in leading the Astros to the NL Wild Card. He was arguably better in 2005, going 13-8 with a major league-best 1.87 ERA as Houston went to its first World Series.
