Both the Braves and the Mets inched closer to an NLCS series showdown on Friday. The Braves find themselves in familiar territory with a 2-1 lead, thanks to an incredible 10th-inning play by Walt Weiss that saved the game and possibly the season. Meanwhile, the Mets continued their unlikely resurrection, soundly taking Game 3, even without the services of catcher Mike Piazza.
