Sammy Sosa, the only player with three 60-homer seasons, holds the record for most home runs over a five-year span (292 between 1998-2002). Sosa became the 18th member of the 500-homer club on April 4, 2003, with a solo shot at Cincinnati off of reliever Scott Sullivan.
