Barry Bonds, the single-season home run champion, has passed 11 Hall of Famers on the career home run list since the beginning of the 2000 season. Bonds became the 17th member of the 500 club on April 17, 2001 in San Francisco with a two-run homer off Los Angeles' Terry Adams.
