Hornets fans were given plenty to be excited about when Charlotte chose Baron Davis as the third overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft. As a member of the Hornets' "High Voltage" bench, Davis, along with Eddie Robinson, electrified the crowd with their dynamic, high-flying play. Davis ended his rookie campaign averaging 5.9 points, 3.8 assists and 1.18 steals in 18.6 minutes per game.
