The 128th Run for the Roses kicked off with little of the fanfare that usually accompanies the oldest and most tradition-laden horse race in the United States. However, the lack of buzz did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the race fans and luminaries who arrived to see War Emblem stride to the winner's circle.
