Men's eight lead U.S. fizzle in finals
The U.S. men's eight crew thought it had fixed all its problems. A fifth-place finish in the Olympics proved otherwise. It was a huge failure for a boat that won the last three world championships, one that was supposed to revive an American tradition in racing's most glamorous event.
