Making a debut

Taekwondo joins judo on Olympic martial arts stage

After nearly four decades as the sole Asian martial art in the Olympic pantheon, judo will share the stage in Sydney with taekwondo. While both are rooted in the same region, the similarities largely end there, except for the likelihood that their home countries will earn gold.
