Kickoff time

The torch at Olympic Stadium has yet to be lit. The opening ceremony isn't until Friday. No one told Olympic soccer to wait. Twelve teams take the Australian fields -- four on the women's side, eight on the men's -- in early round action, highlighted by full coverage of the U.S. men vs. Czech Republic. The bad news? It's not on national television: MSNBC offers Wednesday's only broadcast, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.
