Olympic Eve

The countdown clock reads one day, but the Olympic footballers are far from tucked into their beds. As the torch travels the last few miles to Olympic Stadium, soccer takes the field Thursday for its second day of competition. The U.S. women make their long awaited debut against Norway at Melbourne Cricket Ground, but not on national television: MSNBC, not NBC, offers up the entire game, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.
