In the world of gymnastics, four years is a lifetime. Looking unlike the 1996 Olympic team, the United States stumbled, slipped and barely made the six-team final in Saturday's women's gymnastics preliminaries. SI's E.M. Swift says the Americans will be lucky to take home the bronze. Meanwhile, it appears the team to beat is Russia, which finished number one overall. But the gold is still up for grabs as the scores are wiped clean for Tuesday's final round.
