Bobsledder gets two-year suspension COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Bobsledder Greg Siem was suspended from competition for two years Friday for refusing to take a drug test. Siem refused to take part in an out-of-competition test July 18, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said. The agency treats a refusal to participate the same as a positive drug test. The two-year suspension is retroactive to the day he refused the test. A written release from the agency said Siem, of Rochester, Minn., expressed regret for refusing to take the test. "I hope other athletes can learn from my experience that there are no excuses, and each athlete is responsible for their decisions," he said in the release. The anti-doping agency funded by the U.S. government that administers drug testing and discipline for U.S. Olympic athletes.
